Timon Haugan

An alpine skier wearing a blue helmet, yellow goggles, a white racing suit with red and blue accents, and green gloves, appears to be celebrating or reacting during a race.

Timon Haugan is a Norwegian alpine ski racer and one of the top Slalom and Giant Slalom athletes in the world.

Timon has one goal: to be the best in the world. Some call him a perfectionist, but Timon simply believes in doing the job right… and never stopping until it is! His drive is built on the belief that hard work, discipline, and growth (both physical and mental) are what separate the good from the great.

From early morning training to standing on World Cup podiums, Timon’s journey is fueled by more than hard work, it takes a team. Timon is proud to work closely with his sponsors, whose support allows him to focus fully on pushing his limits.

What is your biggest strength?

I go all in. I don’t stop until I know I’ve done the job right, no shortcuts, no halfway.

Where did you grow up skiing?

I grew up skiing in Oppdal, Norway. Oppdal has a huge variety of slopes and one of the best training hills in my opinion.

One piece of advice for young athletes?

It doesn’t matter what others paths look like, only compare yourself to the person you were yesterday.

Favorite career moment so far?

Winning the Schladming night race.

Who are your biggest role models?

In skiing, I have admired Marcel Hirscher, Ted Ligety, Aksel Lund Svindal & Kjetil Jansrud
Outside of skiing, Connor McGregor and movie character would be Rocky Balboa.

What do you enjoy outside of skiing?

I enjoy to play guitar, listen to music, mountain bike, drink coffee, see friends, and enjoy the normal parts of life.
